Born from a real problem
Vaultera started when we saw travel tech companies struggling with PCI DSS compliance. Property Management Systems and Channel Managers were receiving credit card data from OTAs like Booking.com and Expedia, putting them in scope for Level 1 PCI audits they never planned for.
We built Vaultera Vault to solve this: intercept card data before it touches your servers, tokenise it, and store it in our PCI Level 1 vault. Simple API, zero compliance burden.
After 6+ years in production and 10M+ tokens processed monthly, we launched Vaultera Switch, a payment orchestrator that connects to 20+ PSPs with intelligent routing, automatic fallback, and a modern checkout experience.
Today, Vaultera is the payments infrastructure layer for travel tech: secure card vaulting with Vault, and intelligent payment routing with Switch.
